Power BI dashboards and models

Requirements to a model, to a report the floor will actually open — desktop and mobile — with training and handover.

Service · Sprint to a decision-ready board

When this is the job

Stakeholders have a list of charts. Finance has a different grain. The last file was a gift from someone who left. Mobile is an afterthought. Nobody wrote down what “done” means for a KPI.

How it runs

Confirm the business outcome and the acceptance criteria first. Dimensional model, Power Query, measures with names that match the business. Layouts that work on a phone. Validation against source. Then documentation, training, and handover so the report does not become another orphan file.

  1. L1

    Outcome

What Tuesday’s decision is. Acceptance written.

  2. L2

    Model

Grain, keys, measures with business names.

  3. L3

    Board

Desktop and mobile. Guided navigation. Not a gallery.

  4. L4

    Keep

Training. A person on the client side. The file stays.

What you leave with

A decision-ready Power BI report on a maintainable model. KPIs that can be explained. A person on the client side who can keep it.
